The reward token of the Curators of Speed
TYRE is a fixed supply of one billion, on Ethereum since 2021. From 1 January 2027 it is earned by adding verified evidence to the record of the world’s cars — a car spotted and confirmed in Tyre Hunt and, once the collector app is connected, a car’s maintenance, provenance and estate plan. TYRE Motorsport, a racing game in development, is where TYRE will be spent, and racing will earn a smaller share. Every TYRE held by the project is in a public wallet you can check below.
Why TYRE exists
Cars outlive their owners; their stories usually don’t. Every verified sighting, maintenance record and provenance document added in the Curators of Speed apps builds a lasting record of the world’s cars, and TYRE rewards the people who build it.
Provenance is only worth what you can prove. TYRE counts evidence by how hard it is to fake, so a documented history outweighs a claim.
Car people have good reason to be wary of crypto. So TYRE is built to be checked: a fixed supply, every project holding in public, no presale, nothing to buy to earn, and claims you can verify yourself.
Purpose
Anyone can post a photo or type a service record. TYRE is for evidence that holds up: a judge-verified sighting with its place and time, a maintenance record, a provenance document. The harder a piece of evidence is to fake, the more it counts.
Points for verified work in the apps. At each claim window a fixed pool of TYRE is shared in proportion to everyone’s points. You never need to buy TYRE to earn it.
TYRE Motorsport, a racing game in development, is where TYRE will be spent. Races never pay out TYRE, and what is spent goes back to the project to refill future reward pools — it isn’t burned.
In development
The supply is fixed in code, the project’s holdings sit in public wallets, and every claim will be checked on-chain against a published snapshot. You don’t have to take anyone’s word for it.
A change to a weight applies to what is earned next, never to what someone has already earned.
Earning
Points are not TYRE. At each window a fixed pool is divided in proportion to everyone’s points, so points never convert one-for-one — and more people earning means the pool is shared more widely, not that more TYRE is made.
A fresh start: nothing earned before this date counts.

Points are frozen into each person’s share of the first pool. Points take 30 days to settle, so anything earned in the last 30 days counts in the next window.
Claim your TYRE on Base in one transaction. Claims close after a set period; TYRE not claimed by then returns to the project for future pools.
No wallet on file by the snapshot? Nothing is lost — your points roll into the next window.
Spot real cars, get them judged, build a registry. Points for firsts — first ever filed, first in your region, a new model for you — for-sale signs, confirmed sightings, naming a Star Car, and bringing a friend.
The collector app: points for looking after your cars — maintenance records, provenance and estate planning. Its earning events are being set up.
Spend TYRE on specific cars at listed prices. Racing earns points toward the claim windows at a smaller share — it’s play, not evidence — and never pays out TYRE directly. What is spent goes back to the project to refill reward pools.
Supply
Read live from Ethereum and Base when this page loads. Today almost all TYRE is held by the project; it reaches people through the claim windows.
